The calendar in Vernain is set up to have 8 months, each named after a type of magic gifted by Father Chaos and Mother Order. Each month has 9 weeks, which are comprised of 5 days each. A year in Vernain is 360 days. The order of months is shown in the thumbnails above. The year starts with two summer months (Fire and Light), followed by two autumn months (Water and Air), two winter months (Death and Darkness), and two spring months (Life and Nature).

Valcrest School for the Promised is comprised of two sections, split down the middle by Equilibrium River. On each side, there are 5 pods, 4 of which are dedicated to a magic given to them by Chaos and Order. The courses offered in each pod are listed with the pictures above.
